Marion Fire Department’s Station No. 1 serves as its primary face, but its existing pre-engineered metal building is in need of both a facelift and additional space for permanent staff. The proposed solution introduces a new brick and metal façade, wrapping the existing structure to create a fresh, modern identity for the department. The staff housing addition is seamlessly integrated with this new façade, refining the building’s form through subtle shifts in plane, light, and material, resulting in a cohesive and enhanced architectural presence.
